The Mets’ 4 game undefeated streak came to an end tonight when the Nationals beat them 6-2.
Mets got some not-so-great news on David Wright. He’s out indefinitely with a fractured pinkie, it’s nothing too serious but he’ll be out for a few games. Wright fractured his finger while sliding back to first last night after a pickoff attempt by the Nationals’ Edwin Jackson. He will wear a splint to protect his finger from any further damage.
Dillon Gee gave up 8 hits, 4 runs, 1 walk 1 homerun and struck out 6.
The offense was barely there tonight, but Ronny Cedeno’s performance was notable as he went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Last night’s hero, Daniel Murphy struggled tonight with 3 failed DP attempts, he also went 0-for-4. Lucas Duda continued his hitless streak by going 0-for-4 as well.
Ruben Tejada and Josh Thole continue their hitting with a hit a piece.
Offense:
- Ruben Tejada (1 hit, 1 run, 1 walk)

- Jason Bay (1 hit, 1 run)
